Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (Distance Selling Regulations)

Acoo Review Ltd. (trading as Promos Central via lanyard.co.uk and other websites) conforms to all current UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

1) Stock Lanyards Purchased Online

Please contact us with your VAT invoice number or shop order number to discuss your return - email [email protected] or phone on 01355 813300. We will provide a refund of cost and basic carriage providing the following conditions are met:

  • Items must be returned within 14 calendar days.
  • Items must be unused.
  • Items should be returned unopened in their original packaging by the purchaser* (one bag can be opened to check goods).
  • Refunds will be given as credit to the original payment method, including a proportion of basic carriage charges on the outbound shipment (if applicable) within 7 days of the goods being received by us.

* - the cost of return is not refundable unless goods are proven to be defective or not as ordered.


2) Custom Lanyards

Due to the customised nature of custom promotional items, in most cases we can only accept returns if:

  • The product is defective
  • The product is not as ordered/detailed on the approved spec sheet
  • The product has artwork design errors not present on the artwork proof approved
† - as detailed in our conditions of sale, we strive to meet any deadline set by customers although this is not the essence of the contract of sale. We will always advise in advance of taking an order if we know we cannot meet a deadline but occasionally, delays can occur for reasons outwith our control (i.e. courier delays or access problems at the delivery location), particularly on urgent/fast-tracked orders that have little or no contingency. The risk for late delivery on urgent orders will be borne by the customer. "Urgent orders" are considered to be any order with a deadline that falls 2 weeks or less for printed lanyards (not including Pantone-matching) and 3 weeks or less for woven lanyards, from the date of artwork approval by the customer (not the date of ordering).
